Greece is an exciting place to visit on vacation or to live a happy life there. Greece is really nothing like the United States. Greece has only about a population of ten million people. It is located in the southern most part of Europe next to Turkey and Italy. Like most of Europe they use the Euro as their form of money, which was once was proportionate to the dollar but is now slightly more than the dollar is worth. The climate is very different then our own weather patterns even though it is extremely hot in both places during the summers it only gets down to forty degrees in the winter in Greece and therefore it hardly snows when it does it is only up in some of the highest mountains of Greece. In Greece they celebrate the same holidays that we do here in America although they take Easter much much more seriously than we do here and there is sadly no Easter bunny. Lets just say that Christmas in America is equal to the Easter in Greece. The primary langue is Greek but in school the kids are learning English as a second langue. Greece is a great place for a vacation or an all round great place to be in your life.
